Apologies for absence were received from Councillors Annison, Bensly and M Coleman.

 

 

2 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

4 EXCLUSION OF PUBLIC
In the event of the Committee wishing to exclude the public from the meeting, the following resolution will be moved:-

"That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part I of Schedule 12(A) of the said Act."

A Member asked for clarification in respect of the Borough Council's rules in relation to how signage is displayed on Private Hire Taxis, the Member Services Officer advised that this matter would be fed back to the Licensing and elections Manager for clarification.

 

A Member asked whether the Chairman of the Committee attended appeal hearings at the Magistrates Court, and it was advised that the Chairman could attend appeal hearings should the Committee decide it appropriate or necessary.
