The minutes of the meeting held on 28 June 2013 were confirmed.
3 EXCLUSION OF PUBLIC

RESOLVED:

          That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 3 of Part I of Schedule 12A of the said Act.

4 GRIEVANCE – POST NUMBER 000467

To consider a grievance submitted by post number 000467.

The following documents are attached:-

The Comittee considered an appeal regarding a grievance submitted by post holder 000467.  The committee considered the extra information in respect of the further investigations into the issue of Parking Contravention Notices.

RESOLVED: 
That the Appeal Committe agreed the following:-
(i) That they endorsed the Chief Executive's (Jane Ratcliffe's) action in relation to the management of Parking Services.
(ii)That the Parking Services Manager should not be subject to disciplinary investigation at this moment in time.
(iii) That the Committee is unable to comment on the personal injury action and that matters are in the hands of the Council's Insurers.
(iv)That HR liaise with  the appellant in relation to potential re-deployment with Great Yarmouth Borough Council other than in Parking Services in accordance with the Council's re-deploymment policies.
