I was born in Great Yarmouth, Schooled in Great Yarmouth and lived there for 21 years. I moved to Belton with my husband Trevor in 1976 and lived there for 16 years and had 3 children, Trevor Jnr, Sarah and Simon. We moved to Bradwell in 1992 where we still live, and my children went to all the Bradwell schools, Homefield First School, Woodlands Middle School and Lynn Grove. My son Trevor and his girlfriend Joanne, moved to New Zealand with the RAF, where he still lives and is now married; they have 2 children, Phoenix and Sienna. My daughter Sarah has 3 children, Olivia, Halle and Olly and at the moment is a full time mum. My son Simon is married to Lynsay, and he is Head Chef at the Imperial Hotel. I became a councillor in May 2012, and have found it very interesting, I enjoy the committees that I am on, and I know that I still have a lot to learn, but I am taking it one day at a time.
