On the Motion of Councillor B Coleman, seconded by Councillor Fairhead it was :
RESOLVED
That Councillor Mary Susanne Clare Coleman one of the Councillors of the Borough of Great Yarmouth be and is hereby elected Mayor of the said Borough for the Municipal Year 2018/19.

On the motion of Councillor Jeal, seconded by Councillor Carpenter it was :
RESOLVED :
That the Council do record their sincere thanks and appreciation to Councillor Kerry Susan Robinson Payne for the dedication, commitment and enthusiasm with which he has carried out his mayoral duties and for the interest and loyalty Kerry has shown in all matters concerning the Borough. And that the Council records its special thanks to Miss Niamh Payne for the support and Maturity Niamh has given to her Mother in carrying out the role as Mayor’s Consort. That these resolutions be engrossed, sealed with the common seal and suitably presented to Councillor Kerry Susan Robinson Payne
On the motion of Councillor Jeal and seconded by Councillor P Carpenter it was :
That Councillor Kerry Susan Robinson Payne be and is hereby elected Deputy Mayor of the Borough of Great Yarmouth for the Municipal Year 2018/19.
The Mayor reported that she had appointed Reverend Albert Cadmore to be her Chaplain for the Mayoral Year.
Reverend Cadmore asked the meeting to stand in silence as a mark of respect to remember former Mayor Bert Collins.
The outgoing Mayors consort Miss Niamh Payne passed on her thanks and appreciation.
Miss Payne then presented the badge (mayors consort) to Councillor B Coleman.
The Mayor reported that there would be a D Day Service in St Georges Park on Tuesday 6th June at 6.30 pm and that the Civic Service will be held on sunday 22nd July at 11am at St Mary's Church, Martham.
