a) On-line fundraising link on website - Mike Muskett stated that he had not been able to find a free on-line fundraising website and it was agreed to not investigate this further.

4 MATTERS ARISING
To consider any matters arising from the above minutes including the following item:-
Antiques Fair with Louise Hamilton Centre.

The Committee spoke of an Antiques Fair with the Louise Hamilton Centre.  Hugh Sturzaker stated that this would have to be held after the Gy Festival and that they required antiques to auction.

5 OTHER MATTERS ARISING
To consider any other matters arising.

Councillor M Coleman spoke of the cake sales and that she had been sent information to state that as Inner wheel was not a business it was a charity that they would not need to display a list of all the ingredients in their cakes at events and that this would be the same for the Trust at events.  Tony Smith reported that Sarah Smith had agreed to make cakes for the 6 summer Sunday afternoon events.

7 RE-ORDERING UPDATE (Michael Boon)
To receive an update at the meeting.

Michael Boon reported that Grant forms had been completed for the south porch roof for a £50,000 grant and the result of this would be known by the end of the month.

The survey of the Minster would take place on the 19th March 2015 and would include the roof.  They would then be able to approach a heating engineer.

It was suggested that a letter be sent to Roy Skinner to apply for funding from the Mason's.

8 PUBLICITY OFFICER'S REPORT
To receive an update at the meeting.

It was suggested that the HLF bid should include a bid for an Education Officer and a Publicity Officer.

a) Quiz to be held at the Town Hall or Masonic Rooms (David McDermott)

b) An evening with Lord Dannatt (Ian Miller)

c) Update on the Friends

d) Royal Marines Band (£5,000) - November 2018 with the British Legion (Colleen Walker)

a) Quiz to be held at the Town Hall or Masonic Rooms (David McDermott) - It was agreed to postpone this until 2016.  John Burroughs would be spoken to to see if he would hold monthly quiz or a one-off quiz at the Craft and Cast with the proceeds going towards the Minster. 

b) An evening with Lord Dannatt (Ian Miller) - Ian be requested to seek suitable dated from Lord Dannatt.

c) Update on the Friends - There was no progress on re-instituting a Friends of the Minster.

d) Royal Marines Band (£5,000) - November 2018 with the British Legion (Colleen Walker)

e) GY Festival 5-14 June 2015 (Hugh Sturzaker) - There would be a Youth orchestra with 150 children, Pakefield Singers, a string quartet, a carnival procession would be held on Saturday in the town lead by a large mammoth.  In 2017 there would be an International Arts Festival in conjunction with Portugal and other European Countries.  

f) May Day Fete 2015 (Karen Childs) - possible Treasure Hunt (David McDermott) Deferred to 2016

a) Messiah (pocket) Easter Sunday afternoon - Sponsorship required - Matthew Quirke (leader) offers a tutorial on publicity.  Councillor's contribution £450 Councillors Linden, Pratt, Wainwright, Williamson and Collins.  Councillor Sutton already committed.  Councillor Fox doesn't take his grant.  Councillor B Walker £100.

b) Umgawa Kagooga 8 piece Ska band 16th May 2015 7.30pm, cost £400 Tickets £5 (Colin Smith) Contact Dave Osborne 07776157474.

c) Vintage Fair (Sandra McCullagh and David McDermott) 23 May 2015 Expenses: Printing £3

d) Dixiemix Jazz Band 11th July 2015 at 7.30pm Tickets £10 Fee £600 again.

e) Rachel King and Friends (Andy Laine-Vocalist Hannah and Suzanne Long. There will be a couple of others) Friday 3 July 2015 (FoC) Tickets £5 CANCELLED.

f) Six Sunday summer afternoon music concerts with cake.  Great Yarmouth Minster at 2.30pm.  Entry £6 (Season Ticket for all the six concerts £25)
26th July - Wherry Brass Band £250
2nd August - Kitty Collins (soprano) presents a tribute to the 1940's and 1950's.  Cost 
9th August - Gorleston Community Choir (FoC)
16th August - Mollyhawks Shanty Singers. Cost £70
23rd August - Gary Winters (jazz, piano and vocal) and Hayley Moss (sop) Cost £250
30th August - Rev'd Grant Boulton Debbage (soul singer and piano) and Bill Kibby (multi-instrumentalist). (FoC)

g) Sunday 4th October: Blessing of the Nets and herring supper 6.30pm: Needs a revamp.

h) Saturday 17th October : The Third Celebrations Fair (Weddings, Anniversaries, Proms etc) and reaffirmation of vows (Sandra McCullagh). Printing £3.

i) Christmas Tree Festival Friday 11th to Sunday 20th December.

Michael Boon asked if a Waterloo exhibition could be held at the same time as the Council's Civic Service and it was agreed that there wouldn't be enough time to prepare this.
