Review of TPO officer report detailing location, amenity value and the expediency of threat to the trees. 

Through the officer report’s assessment, the alternative option not to protect the tree has been discounted given the public amenity value and immediate threat to potential loss or damage to the trees.

The officer report, following assessment and recommendations of the Arboricultural Officer confirms that the tree would have the public amenity value and makes an important contribution to  the townscape setting of the area and the Conservation Area. The trees also have an immediate threat to loss or damage as currently subject of a Section 211 notice.  As such, protection is warranted under Section 198 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
