Do not make Tree Preservation Order – Fleggburgh Hall Village Hall, Main Road, Fleggburgh – Rowan, Ash, Birch, Holly, Oak, Whitebeam, Guelder-Rose, Hawthorn, Field Maple and Apple (G1).

Consultation is not necessary, as it is not considered expedient in interests of amenity to make a Tree Preservation Order covering G1.

The officer report, following assessment and recommendations of the Arboricultural Officer confirms that the tree group (G1) would not have sufficient public amenity value, nor expediency to warrant its protection under Section 198 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. 

Through the officer report’s assessment, the alternative option to protect the tree has been discounted given the insufficient public amenity value, nor current expediency in protecting the tree under Section 198 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
