Wymondham Abbey had also been visited, as they had been successful in their lottery bid.  The Greater Churches Group were preparing documents for a preliminary stage bid of £3.5m to be submitted as a first stage.  If this is successful the Minster would be able to go onto phase two.  The Chairman stated that the basic project would be to install heating, restore the organ and replace the pews with chairs etc.  It was confirmed that the Trust would be asked to help with fund raising for the project.  It was felt that it was very important for the trust members to be kept up-to-date if the minster wished to keep their support.  It was agreed that they should be given an update on this by Chris Terry at the next meeting.  Albert Jones suggested that a company be approached to help with a bid for the Heritage Lottery Funding.
