I have lived in the Borough practically all my life and resided in areas such as the Market Place, Southtown, Cobholm, Belton, Gorleston and Great Yarmouth seafront. Each area has its own characteristics and makes the town an amazing place. My working life has always been Great Yarmouth based, running a successful business. That company is still going strong following being sold in 2008. Sport has been a major part of my life having played senior football for both Great Yarmouth Town and Gorleston and cricket for Great Yarmouth. I owe Great Yarmouth and Gorleston a debt which after being elected to represent Claydon Ward I intend to pay back. My ambitions include making life better for residents after this pandemic. I maintain contact with business by holding directorships with the leading Pension Company providing pensions for the Plumbing Industry and the Trade body for Plumbing and Heating Companies. I have represented these bodies at a national level. For many years it has been a pleasure to be part of various charities, helping to raise their profiles and funds. Special educational needs, Cancer and Alzheimer charities are particularly dear to my heart. I have a partner, Linda who is supportive of my work in the community, a son and daughter and 4 fantastic grandchildren.
